Is your choir or singing group interested in participating in Windsor Choral Festival 2025?The Windsor Choral Festival (WCF) is an annual event that gathers choral singers from across the Windsor-Essex region to share a love of singing together. The Festival provides choral clinics for ongoing vocal training and education free of charge, encouraging community through collaborative singing. With an explicit mandate to promote Canadian choral music, the Festival features a Canadian work as the massed choir finale piece during the Festival showcase.WCF 2025 will occur from February 19 to 22, with choral clinician Dr. Jamie Hillman. JAMIE HILLMAN is a Canadian and American musician, active as a conductor, singer, pianist, music educator, and composer-arranger. He holds the endowed Elmer Iseler Chair in Conducting at the University of Toronto where he is Director of Choral Studies and an Associate Professor. He conducts the U of T MacMillan Singers and leads the master’s and doctoral degree programs in Choral Conducting, as well as the summer Choral Conducting Symposium. Professor Hillman is also cross listed as an adjunct faculty member in Emmanuel College’s Master of Sacred Music program.
