Arts Council Windsor & Region presents the artwork and a public workshop by JIM MROCZKOWSKI – an Artist Talk and Hands-On Workshop at ARTSPEAK GALLERY, 1942 Wyandotte Street East.
The Artist Talk and free Workshop will introduce the public to his work and his working methodology. Attendees/participants are asked to bring 3 pocket sized items and a pencil with them to the workshop. All other materials will be provided. Space is limited. The upcoming public workshop “Thinking Inside and Outside the Box”, scheduled for Tuesday evening November 4th at ARTSPEAK GALLERY from 7 to 9 pm. In this brief encounter, you will be challenged to explore the working principles behind creative thinking: How to work with AI. Not artificial intelligence, but “Artistic Intelligence”. Using INNOVATION, INSPIRATION, INVENTIVENESS, and IMAGINATION to springboard your work to the next level. If you want to break out of old habits that are limiting your artistic journey, this workshop is for you. Jim Mroczkowski participated in a six week residency at Juniper Books with the “Creatives at Work” program sponsored by The Trillium Foundation and ACWR. Jim is a Windsor based artist whose career spans over five decades. His work can be found in many private, corporate and institutional collections in Canada, USA and Europe.
